Welcome Home
Helpers!

As My Friend’s Place supports more young people moving
into housing, we’re excited to continue building our volunteer
project, the Welcome Home Helpers!

When our youth transition off the streets and into permanent housing, many are lacking the
basic necessities to set up a comfortable space to call their own.

From sheets and towels to pillows and placemats, our Welcome Home Helpers assist our
youth in turning a house into a home.

How does it work?

We’ll provide you or your group (be it friends,
colleagues or social acquaintances) a wish list of
home items needed for one of our youth. Tackle the
shopping list as you see fit, and then we’ll deliver the
Welcome Home package to the young person upon
move in.

It’s that simple!
