COVID Update

My Friend’s Place was unexpectedly closed by the Department of Public Health due to a COVID outbreak. We are closed for onsite services on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We hope to reopen on Monday, January 24.

If you are a youth and in need of drop-in services and in good standing with the LALGBT Youth Center, they are open Monday-Friday from 7:30-3:30 and until 1:30 on Saturday and Sunday. The center is located at 1118 North McCadden and you can call them at (323) 860-2280.

MFP does not operate 24 hour crisis services.  Please do not phone or email that you are in crisis and need support, as we won’t be able to respond.  Here are the crisis numbers to reach out to instead:
