Join Us For "Young, Black & Homeless: The Devastating Consequences of Racism"

As part of our ongoing commitment to centering social justice, diversity and equity in our work, we are excited to announce a panel discussion on the severe impact of anti-black racism on homelessness in Los Angeles.

Featuring Dr. Chyna Hill, a post-doctoral scholar of youth homelessness at USC, Erin Casey, My Friend's Place Director of Programs, alongside Siodhachan Xzxionahti, an alumnus of My Friend's Place, we look forward to an in-depth and multilayered conversation about the structures that make it more likely that black youth will experience homelessness, and more difficult for them to emerge back into stability.

We hope you'll join us on our Youtube channel on February 24th at 6:30 p.m (PST)., for this important discussion moderated by Toni Cooper, Data and Impact Manager at My Friend's Place.
